The Racial Equity Dialog (RED) is a racially diverse team of women from throughout the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic.  RED currently has 31 members from eleven presbyteries.

RED was established in 2005, with a grant from the PW Church wide Coordinating Team.  Since 2007, it has sponsored a variety of workshops at the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic PW Summer Gathering, as well as at various presbytery PW gatherings, to raise awareness of racial equity.

Our team members participate in leadership trainings such as, the Ecumenical Advocacy Days (EAD), White Privilege and Women of Color conferences. Furthermore, team members take part in book studies on race and equity and conduct community circles based on the concepts learned to encourage courageous conversations in churches, schools, and communities.
